Principal

Ehren Terenyi is a construction, renewables, engineering and technology projects lawyer

I am an experienced construction and infrastructure lawyer, specialising in technology integration, renewables and developments.  I started Renew Legal in 2023 to be able to work closely with clients and deliver useful and strategic advice.

I have been a lawyer for 11 years, specialising in construction for most of that time.  My legal background includes boutique, top tier and international firms, Associate to a Federal Court Judge, commercial manager, and senior legal counsel for Asia Pacific and India.

I help negotiate and document construction and project agreements such as design and construct, supply and install, side deeds, EPC, O&M and FIDIC, split scope, BOP packages, interface, and settlements.  I have extensive experience helping offshore clients to protect their IP, and commercial relationships, when working in the Australian market.

Areas of specialisation:

  • Wind, solar and energy storage

  • Construction

  • Infrastructure: Roads, pipelines, water and rail

  • PPPs: Roads, hospitals, ports

  • Technology integration into construction projects
